London, a thriving city in which trends are set and which with its unique multicultural vibe certainly serves as a source of inspiration to many people in both their work and private lives. Home to many Italian immigrants in the 19th century, today it is home to trendy bars, great restaurants, architects, designers, trendsetters and design-oriented brands and companies. The Dauphin Group also chose the architectural and design district of Clerkenwell as the location for its new showroom, and this puts it right at the heart of all the action for the forthcoming Clerkenwell Design Week 2017, which takes place from 23 to 25 May 2017.

Situated in a Victorian town house dating from 1888, Dauphin HumanDesign UK Ltd. has been presenting cleverly designed furnishing concepts spanning the themes of Welcome, Lead, Meet, Work, Learn and Relax over four floors since July 2016. On each floor you will find examples of furnishing scenarios which are intended to make you think and reflect. What makes them particularly charming is the combination of individual products from the company’s Bosse, Dauphin and Züco brands to create innovative, integrated furnishing solutions. Visitors can expect to see colourful suggestions for team workstations that make the best use of space, ergonomic seating solutions and lounge groups which are welcoming and an inviting place to wait or engage in small talk. In addition, flexible conference solutions with integrated technology offer the ideal setting for internal meetings and external events.

The aim of the wide range of designs presented is to give visitors the inspiration to furnish their own premises. The intention is to create the feeling of coming home when you enter the office. During the three-day design event, the showroom will not just present the latest product development to customers and other interested parties and offer them expert advice on the latest furnishing themes, but with an evening event to be held on 25 May it will also invite people to attend a relaxed after-work get-together and engage in face-to-face discussions.

So if you are planning a city trip to London (at the end of May), you should definitely put Clerkenwell on your to-do list. Explore the colourful bars and restaurants or pay a visit to 1 Albemarle Way – the new offices of the Dauphin Group – and be inspired to embrace new ideas. Strolling down the little streets or enjoying a delightful drink in the evening are another very different way to experience and enjoy London.
